I remember when those guns first made their way into the US. You got a very good deal on a very good gun. Sold many in my shop and not one ever came back to haunt me. Over the years all of the ones I have seen have been darn nice 1911s for the buck.

Best wishes for good luck with the gun and enjoy it.

I have never really owned anything that looks this nice. I typically go for the well used guns simply because they are usually affordable and I really like ugly guns. I do think this will go shooting often but taken great care of so as to pass it on in its current shape.

Nothing wrong with taking extra care of something you really like and plan to pass on. And in the mean time you get to fire and take full advantage of one mighty fine 1911.

One was my carry .45 until I had to sell it a couple of Christmases ago to pay the rent.

The internal parts were garbage, but the barrel frame and slide were first rate. After a little work from my smith, it was 100% reliable and easily as accurate as my Series 70 Colt and my Springfield.

I wouldn't hesitate to get another at the right price, and you price was a good one.
