I was wondering pretty much the same thing - it seems like northeastshooters.com doesn't exist in DNS at the moment:
$ nslookup northeastshooters.com
Server: xxx.xxx.xxxxxx.com
Address: 10.127.1.2
DNS request timed out.
timeout was 2 seconds.
*** Request to xxx.xxx.xxxxx.com timed-out
If I lookup just about any other domain name I can think of - I get a response, northeastshooters.com however = gonzo.
Do a whois lookup - and ping all three of the DNS servers listed for northeastshooters.com - no response:
$ ping NS1.VEGASVIPNETWORKS.COM
PING NS1.VEGASVIPNETWORKS.COM (72.46.126.130): 56 data bytes
----NS1.VEGASVIPNETWORKS.COM PING Statistics----
7 packets transmitted, 0 packets received, 100.0% packet loss
$ ping NS2.VEGASVIPNETWORKS.COM
PING NS2.VEGASVIPNETWORKS.COM (72.46.126.130): 56 data bytes
----NS2.VEGASVIPNETWORKS.COM PING Statistics----
17 packets transmitted, 0 packets received, 100.0% packet loss
$ ping NS3.VEGASVIPNETWORKS.COM
PING NS3.VEGASVIPNETWORKS.COM (72.46.126.130): 56 data bytes
----NS3.VEGASVIPNETWORKS.COM PING Statistics----
13 packets transmitted, 0 packets received, 100.0% packet loss
Try to go to the website for
www.vegasvipnetworks.com - no response there either.
Something is screwy with vegasvipnetworks - according to this site:
http://www.hosterstats.com/2010/DomainRetentionTrends2010.php?hoster=vegasvipnetworks.com
They lost a bunch of their hosted domains in 2010. They went from 92 hosted domains on Feb 1, to 52 on May 1.
Any company that loses that amount of business in that short a period of time you have to wonder if something is up.
If vegasvipnetworks went tits up that might explain the long down time - it would take a while to get up and running on a completely different network provider.
