Hello again,

Straight to the point here.

So our import permit was approved early this week, which is a huge win on many fronts for my company. I immediately called my supplier to get the ball rolling on these primers and other items of interest to be shipped over. A couple hours after we spoke he called me back and informed me that the pallet of primers held for me had been inadvertently used for his loading operations (he is an ammo manufacturer) and claimed it was a mistake. There were words. Believe me. The logical next move was to find more, and as a loader he definitely has them. They are, however, not what I originally ordered. Here’s where we are at…

What is available:
I can get SV Primers (country of origin is Argentina) and I am told they are better than Ginex. He is currently using them for his commercial loading operations with no reported problems. I was originally given a price of $.25/primer and balked given the obvious situation I’m in and was able to work him down to $.15/primer cost to me which is also what he is paying for them. I’m only disclosing this information so nobody thinks I’m trying to gouge when I mark them up a small amount to cover my costs for this. As some of you on High Road have stated, I’ve already paid the taxes on your orders, had merchant services fees taken out and the administrative costs associated exist as well. After discussion with my accountant we have reached a price of $.19/primer to cover my costs and ensure I don’t end up losing money on this deal. At $.19 I stand to basically break even.

How this would work is:
Anyone who wants out and requests a refund will get one. Hopefully this isn’t everyone because that would definitely result in a significant loss to me, which I am willing to accept and anticipated as a possible scenario when I made the decision to do this early this year. My only goal has and still is to deliver primers to the reloading market where manufacturers have refused to since the buying surge. Anyone who wants to keep their order, reduce or expand their purchase may do so. I will need an email stating what you’d like to do so I can get a full count and place the order. These are not going anywhere so there’s no worry it will not happen. If you choose to stay in, we will recalculate the cost for the requested quantity and I will send an invoice via PayPal. Once orders are in, I will make the phone call, the pallet will be packed and we should be no further than a week out.

I have spent the past week while dealing with this reality making phone calls all across the country and to various international suppliers trying to find a better deal and everyone, from the big dogs down to the small fries who manufacture primers are refusing to sell to the retail market for reloading. My supplier is only willing to do this with me because of the relationship we have and continue to build. It is unfortunate that it has come to this and I offer my sincerest apologies to you all for making you wait this long and then having to jack up the price over 300%, but this is the best deal I am able to generate, and the only one available on a recurring basis. I will be able to continue to get primers in the future. The price will continue to fluctuate just like ammo does, but they will be available. I was told that even for commercial loading operations that CCI is selling primers for $.25 WHOLESALE!

So here we are. Please let me know what you’d like to do so we can keep the momentum going. It’s taken this long and we are almost to the finish.

Allow me to retract everything I said about this as Noah is a straight up con man.

So primers go from 60 a thousand to 150 dollars a thousand.

The way I read it is that now it'll be $190 per K to buy any from him...

My local retailers are starting to have primers trickle in and the prices are less than half that - $45 per K at Sportsmans Warehouse and $60 or there abouts at Sheels and Bass Pro. I haven't been following the price on Gunbroker but last I heard they were in the $150 range.

They should have replaced what they used no questions, as some were already paid for by myself and others in the group. All this time...have to laugh.. least we get a refund..

Wow... that's a bad turn.
I was hoping this would be a success so that I could get in on the next batch.
I'd rather pay the 75-100 per/k that cci/rem/win/fed are when they come available than pay 2-3 times that for a primer I have no experience with.

You can get primers small pistol primers off of ammoseek for 14 cents https://ammoseek.com/reloading/primers?ikw=small pistol if I was desperate I'd get some for 14-15 cents from one of the vendors listed there. Fortunately I have enough to last through next year, so I'll keep waiting.

Update: CCI are now selling for 9.5 cents a primer from my last search.

I won't count on that until the money is back in my account. I'm already prepared to file a credit card dispute if it comes to that.

The whole story stinks. I'm having trouble believing any of it at this point.

I thought the whole idea of prepaying was to lock in a good price. I feel like a fool.

Unbelievable…….Noah sure had a crappy business partner. I can’t believe a business partner would do that. I assume NFT prepaid for the Ginex primers to his partner importer…..Then the Canadian dude used them for his own shop. Unbelievable

Same. My credit union is pretty bad ass when it comes to this type of thing.

Okay. Looking at the bigger picture...
Hmmm....

Okay. Looking at the bigger picture... Last Email they were Sitting in Customs awaiting the approval of the importers license no?

So how did they make it to this "ammo loader's" if they were being held in customs?

Hmmm....
I thought they were at a warehouse in Canada and the hold up was getting them imported into the US.

I’m assuming the intended process was as follows:
1. Talk to supplier in Canada. Arrange to buy primers.
2. Apply for ATF permit to import them across the border
3. Presell them for liquidity so you can afford to actually buy that 100k or whatever of primer product.
4. When ATF approves, pay the supplier and arrange the actual transport and import, sell the remainder for more/the profit on the deal.

So theoretically, assuming this story is true, we should all be able to get our money back without too much hassle on NFTs part, since NFT did not pay the Canadian ammo loading company ahead of time, for the primers. Which means the Canadian suppliers are unethical lowlifes but not technically thieves. I feel very bad for Noah (if he’s telling the truth, which I really don’t doubt, since he could just disappear and not have to face the extreme opprobrium if he were truly a con artist.)

Total BS, requested refund, what kind of shady characters is he dealing with, if that's the truth.

What in the actual ****? I’ve been on board with this since the beginning, a contract is a contract. I don’t give a **** how much they cost him, I have an order for six cents a primer. If he cannot produce for six cents a primer he needs to eat the loss.

I have 10,000 primers on order, I was willing to up to a minimum of 50k. At this point I will lick my wounds give me my ****ing refund.

sorry to waste everyone’s time with this. This game is way above his head, he needs to find a good international business lawyer. The idea that someone “accidentally used his product quote is ludicrous.
