Northfork primers

But hey, I’m sorry! My supplier took all the primers my customers intended to pay for and offered me these other primers for 3x as much!
So you sold product you didn’t even have?
Sorry guys, this sounds like a case of he sold product for $60 then figured out he could sell it for $120 so he screwed the original buyers.

Interesting update: So, I didn't cancel my order of 5k primers and got a message from Noah a coupe weeks ago that he needed a balance of $130 to ship my order. Well, before I paid him any more, I wanted to do some checking to see how much I had already paid him when I ordered. In the meantime I got my bank statement in and North Fork had debited my account for $75 on Nov 3rd. I had already been debited $75 back in Mar. So I have asked Noah for an updated invoice that reflects what I've already been debited and the balance amount requested.
I'll keep everyone updated on the results here. Just out of curiosity, has anyone else actually completed their transaction with Noah and received their primers?
He debited your account without your authorization?

Even if you don’t object to that specific transaction because you want primers, you better do what’s necessary so he can’t unilaterally debit your account again. This guy isn’t above anything.

Ok, so my bank statement was in error, he actually canceled my order and credited my account, the original debit was re-listed for some reason, bank can't tell me why, but it was a credit and not a debit. So other than holding my money for eight months interest free, we are straight now.

For the original "pre-order" price of 6 cents apiece? I doubt it seriously.

I mean after everything changed price wise, I dropped out after the price changed. I have not seen anyone on other forums stating they have any.

In one of the multitude of threads on this topic, someone was considering pursuing legal action to get the 6 cent primers they had paid for rather than requesting a refund. I haven’t seen anymore about that, though. I suspect legal fees would make that impractical anyway.

It stunk from the beginning.
Had to call AMEX to get refunded.
His buddy over at Armadillo Arms ten times more shady. Buyer beware! Couldn’t get a return email or call until I filed credit card dispute.

Don’t get me started. Too late…

I recall it being mentioned in passing but not beyond that. I even asked if anyone was considering it.

This just really smells like wire fraud to me.

If I lived near where this guy does business, I’d have a simple meeting with the local prosecutor or police anti-fraud unit. Even a simple lunchtime visit to Northfork by an underworked FBI agent would be worth watching. Heck the FTC really does care about online fraud and probably would engage cause they hate guns too.

As for actual civil lawsuits though, as you suggest, because of the relatively high total legal fees vs. a low individual award (if any at all) it becomes a tragedy of the anti-commons—just not worth it for any one person to try it.

And, for the ambulance chasers out there (such as Michael Avenatti), gathering up enough folks willing to engage in (and pay for) a class action “for the fun of it” is unlikely lest it would’ve been done by now.

This could’ve been part of the perps original calculus…no one will lose anything or enough of anything to complain to the authorities.

But to keep my post about reloading…the cost of primers (6 cents or 60 cents) isn’t the biggie for me it’s ready availability at whatever the cost. I just want em when I need em.

I received my refund quickly from Northdork. My friend ordered from Armadillo, never got any info from him, never got primers. Called and talked to them, they don’t want to give him a refund and said they are still waiting on the primers.
