I had a client give this to me as a "wedding" gift as a thank you for helping him achieve a goal of his...Not a bad day if you ask me!

I have some stuff i would like to do to it. A adjustable stock, remove the heat shield, and a few other things.

he bought it 8 years ago, went and shot skeet with it the same weekend, lol, and then stuck it in his closet. Now all he does it collect antiques.

I have some things I wanna do to it and then keep it in the bedroom for my wife. This will make the 870 I have strictly a hunting gun which is what I bought it for!

Are you going to put some sort of stock on it? A lightweight 12ga. with a pistol grip may be a bit difficult to control under recoil and operate smoothly.

Sounds like a good plan BoostedXT, I've held a security-barreled fully-stocked 12-ga with a pistol grip (It was a quality stock) used by an on-duty LEO. And it felt great, it was nice, compact and sturdy.

Besides, yours was free, no loss there! Good find! What are you doing for the barrel, keeping the stock one?
