Nothing happened Friday at the bank

As to your question about others opinion of the P90, I have one, and I agree it is accurate. I do have an issue with the length of the trigger guard. I dont have small hands, but it just seems a little long for me. But, it's a Ruger and hell for stout. YMMV.

I have argued with a lot of people about it immediately after the concealed carry laws went into effect in Kansas. Individual banks can post a "no guns" sticker, and many did in the immediate period after CCL became legal, but not all.

We are prohibited from carrying in churches, something almost totally ignored, I know even Preachers and Priest who carry concealed in Churches, as do many of their parishioners. No body seems to know now how that got tacked onto the Concealed Carry Bill. Most people who carry just ignore it, and at least one large Catholic church recently held a parishioners meeting, urging them to not leave anything valuable in their car during services due to break ins.

I carry at the bank all the time. No way would I not because criminals like to catch people, especially at ATM's inside and outside the branches. I keep my gun hidden so no one knows.

I'm not aware of any law against it in SC. Some banks do post the sign in my town but they are generally small and not up to the legal requirement. The local bank I do business with does not post any anti gun sign but has joined in with the please remove sunglasses, hoodies, hats etc when entering sign.

I just poke my sunglasses atop my hat and go right on in, never been asked to leave or had anyone make a comment about it, nor have I seen them say anything to anyone else.

For what its worth the president of this local bank does carry in the bank as we all found out a while back when someone attempted to rob the bank and he pulled out his firearm. Robber fled and was later captured by police.

My Credit Union does not have any posted firearms prohibitions, but they do have a sign asking to remove hats and sunglasses. I go in there all the time with my hat and sunglasses on. I'll take my sunglasses off if I have to go to a teller, but my hat stays on, and for some reason they don't have any issue with it.

I've been in banks in Colorado with signs asking (?) patrons to remove ski masks and hoods before entering the building. Same in New Mexico where they ask that you remove hats and sunglasses. Doesn't that make you feel safer already?

What's the point of removing a hat, when the bank won't ask the women wearing a burka to reveal her face? The fact is laws should apply to everyone not just certain people or certain religions.

Laws? Where are there laws that say you must remove your hat in a bank???

Exactly. There are no laws that say you must wear or not wear certain things in a private business nor should there be. Each business owner should have the right to decide who and what they will allow in their building. That should include everything from not allowing hats to not allowing people with red hair, if they so choose. We have a lot of government involvement in this issue where it doesn't belong. Church carry for example.
