As a kid growing up, MY barbweshop (Needhams barber shop in West Branch Michigan, if you need a trim) always had gun mags to read, and a bumper ssticker on the wall (right over a window, where you had to see it when you climbed into the chair) that says "When Guns are Outlawed, Only Outlaws will have Guns!" If 50% of my hair hadn't already fallen out, (I buzz the rest off) then i'd STILL be going there...

used to go to a "salon" the girl there was young GORGEOUS, tall and only had curves in places mr hefner would like and giggled a lot, but she did a good haircut, and never seemed to be able to give me a haircut without having to reach across me to brush some cut hair away. ahhhhhh the memories....

A real barber shop

Gary & Daryl's Plaza Barber Shop in Las Vegas, Nevada, is a real shop with hunting magazines, hunting talk (also baseball, trapshooting, cars, and other manly topics.) There's usually a woman barber on one of the three chairs but you'd like her. This is also a place you can get a REALLY good haircut.

My barber shop is owned by a gun collector. So it has plenty of gun, hunting magazines. And one of the barbers is a woman. She has to put up with a bunch of crap, but I noticed she is very good at standing her ground.

I recently had to find a new barbershop because my old barber closed up due to age and illness. Finally found one, 9 old, leather covered cast iron chairs, no waiting. Lots of gun, hunting, hot rod and sports magazines, as intended. Plus, $8 cuts.

Last time I went to a "salon" the girl clipped off the tip of my ear. Needless to say I was upset! Bled like crazy too!

Of course I can recall getting a haircut in Rapid City, SD. They barber shaved the back of my neck using a mug and bristle brush to put on the shaving cream and when he started stropping the straight razor on the leather strap I froze. I didn't move until he was towelling me off. I was shaved so close the hair was afraid to come out for a month! I wish I could get that around here.
