Very hot. It would be scorching if they'd offer it with a lightweight alloy frame.
I was also a little surprised at the listed mag capacity. 7 rounds of 10mm in a full size frame? Surely they can get at least 8 in there, and I'd think you should be able to do 9.
It looks to me like they had to change the floorplate of the mag to accomodate the angle cut.I'd think that a "regular" mag would hold the extra round but would protrude past the angled edge of the frame.
No special magazines are required.
The bobtail cut does not intrude into the magazine well. The mainspring housing still extends all the way to the bottom of the grip. It's just beveled.
I'd bet a dollar the listed capacity is for the .45.
As a side note for everyone, I accidentally only brought Wilson combat mags to the range once for my 1911's, and REALLY wanted to shoot my Delta Elite, so i figured "What the heck!" and tried it anyways. No jams. I shot 100 rounds that day with no problems of any kind. I went back a few weeks later and did the same thing, with no problems. So I kept doing it. After 500 rounds, I figure they're safe enough to use.
