I'm here in Las Vegas waiting for something interesting to happen, but I really don't expect anything out of the ordinary.
I mean, the last crew came here to watch girls and drink alcohol whilst plotting their evil deeds. Why destroy a good debauch?

I just finished painting my Suburban in tactical flat camo colors.
Bought some flint and steel, and one of those tactical folding shovels.
Loaded all my hi cap tactical mags for the 10-22.
Have donned my black BDUs, which I assure you won't come off til we are back down to yellow.
Ordered 10 cases of MREs from cheaperthandirt.com; not sure if UPS still runs when we are at Threat Level Orange, though.
Loaded all my SHTF bug-out back packs (every member of my immediate family has one, including the 2 yr old) into the camo-colored Suburban.
Put on my boonie hat.
Strapped on my Spyderco.
Put on a Yanni CD. I dont know why.
Filled my bath tubs with water.
As soon as I post this, I am going to pull the hard drive out of my computer, and bury it in the back yard, so it won't fall into enemy hands.

As soon as I heard that the Gov. thinks that we should be on ORANGE.
I went out and alerted Al, the head 'gator in charge of guarding the swamp on three sides of the house, kicked two of the junkyard dogs from in front of the fire and out in the yard to guard the front of the house.
Since there were no recomendations for a specific Homeland Defense Rifle, I loaded up another SKS and ordered another 1000 rds. of ammo.
I made a solemn vow to my wife that I would no longer drive to the P.O. or to the Wal-mart without having my HDR in the car.
I promised that if I saw a suspicious raghead trying to smoke his shoe that I would call the FBI and let them know where I left the body.
I don't know how anyone can be concerned about this, Hell the Gov. is on alert.
I feel perfectly safe.

I've switched over to the big Ruger (KP95DC), loaded up another "evil" hi cap mag with 115gr Corbon +P, put another pot of coffee on (hazelnut), and am typing this to you all!!

I've got my BOB, 500 rnds for the FAL, 1000 rnds for the AK, 200 for the 1911 and 200 for the 9mm.
I'm hoping I'll need none of it, but hey, all it's doing now is taking up space in the corner. If I ever need it, it's there.
