In the 1980's I as in the retail gun sales business for a short period of time.
During that time I aquired a box of .22 rimfire ammo that was all white with the exception of a large ( I think red color) NRA printed across the top of the box. It was clean and still sealed (2 part box as I recall).
Unfortunatly I sold it back then but have always wondered about this box of ammo.
Does anyone know if there was ever a run of .22's made for the NRA ?
National Rifle Association (or) National Recovery Association (of the 1933 time period)
Any input would be helpful. And to the guy here in Southern Minnesota I sold it to in the late 1980's - do you want to sell them back ?
