Cavman - Congratulations on those personal bests. Nice scores - you must have been putting in a lot of time and effort. And on making the trip to Perry. It was my second time this year. Definitely a bit more wind than last year... like trying to shoot the revolver match in what appeared to be a microburst/dust storm.

If you ever have the opportunity, attending one of the bullseye clinics put on by Brian Zins and Andy Moody is definitely worth the time and money. I'd been shooting bullseye for three or four years, and I learned more in those two days than I could ever imagine.

Not only are they both champion shooters, they're excellent instructors as well. They'll get you set up with a shot process that works for you. They hold the clinics at different ranges around the country, basically anywhere enough people can get together and hire them.

Thanks. I really like shooting the .22. Recently I have spent the majority of training on Slow Fire. That has paid big dividends.

The earlier pistols in the thread were stolen when some guy broke into the house before I got back for lunch one day last Fall.

I ended up replacing with the S&W M41 and the RRA Wadcutter (which I got at the beginning of this Summer).

I did go and get the Dillon, too, for reloading, to make shooting the .45 a little more affordable for (hopefully) good loads. That, I think, will turn out to be an excellent recommendation.

I talked to RRA, yesterday, and was told 6 months for a Service Hardball .45. I guess I have no choice.

have a good one,
cavman
