I should be at the Second Amendment Foundation booth, unless things in Olympia are blowing up (NRA is the weekend before teh end of our legislative session).
are the NRA meetings those places where you all just meet up and show each other ur guns or is there stalls with people selling glocks and all those other makers?
The NRA Annual Meetings / Show is the opportunity for the manufacturers to show off their goodies. You can't buy or sell guns to the public there though. The NRA show is also the so called finale of the shows and open to the public. The dealer shows normally start in January and finish up the the NRA which is more or less public.
I would have been there if it was still in Columbus like it originally was scheduled, until the AWB was implemented by the Mayor and village idiots on the city council.:banghead: NAH, Columbus didn't need that expected 20 million in revenue!
The NRA exhibition hall typically has about 40,000 square feet of manufacturer/vendor displays. All the biggies are there, as well as many smaller gunsmiths and other specialists. They also have a separate law enforcement section, although everyone is allowed to wander through the whole shebang.
FBI/NICS is usually there, too. Good info for those that need help in this area.
In addition to the exhibition hall open Friday-Sunday, there are breakout sessions on grassroots lobbying and other topics. There's even a gun law session with CLE credit for attorneys. It'll all be listed on the NRA's web site at http://www.nra.org
