i'm looking to get a little more organized as i'm getting a little more forgetful.
I've built myself a matrix where across the top I have my 200 yrd standing, 200 yrd sitting, 300 yrd prone and 600 yrd prone positions.
down the left hand I have the following rows:
come up (obviously this changes with each yard line)
no-wind zero (i consistently need 4 clicks left in sitting, for whatever reason)
sight picture (6 o'clock standing and flat tire elsewhere for me)
sling # (what # my keeper is on, since I change from sitting to prone)
ammo (i shoot Load #40 (69g SMK) at 200/300 and Load #41 (80g SMK) at 600)
I'm just trying to build something I can get in the habit of glancing at during prep so I won't forget stupid stuff.
I'd be interested in knowing what OTHER things HP shooters change between positions.
I'm shooting service rifle only, so I'm not particularly interested in adjustable stock positions or changes to "match sights" where people move them forward or backward on rails, or other things that don't pertain to the AR15, but that doesn't mean others might not be similarly interested. feel free to post.
