Nylon cleaning brushes

Hey y'all I had an XD40 which came with a nylon cleaning brush and seem to do a great job. Can I get an insight on nylon vs brass brushes, usually I use brass but seens like the nylon would be less likely to cause any damage over time.

Bronze bore brushes will not cause any harm to a steel barrel.

They have been used by military match teams and solders for way longer then any of us have been alive.
If they harmed even the finest bores, they wouldn't use them.

Nylon brushes are good for applying Copper Solvent that will eat up bronze brushes..

Nothing else.

Thanks! I didn't even think about metal hardness. The steel is much harder then bronze so it makes a lot of sense.
