This nut job is scary. I can't stand McCain, but if he is my only shot at keeping Obama out of office then he will get my vote.

If the DEMONS (Obama or Hillary) get elected, I can forsee this country going
to HELL in a hand basket. Obama sounds more like the AntiChrist, than he
does a president; and "Hick Hillary", is just blowing smoke, as she has always
done. I don't see either candidate being elected President Of These United

It just really pains me to think that so many people are putting in their votes for this guys 'just because he's not republican'.
Just wrong that the way things are going we're going to be stripped of everything except for what they're willing to dole out to us, and most of the population won't even realize what's happened till it's too late to fix anything.

As I see it, not based on deeply researched fact: originally the founders thought that we would not have a standing military: They proposed that we had a trained militia that would rise to the occasion if need be.
But what he said about weaponize space: there is a treaty that says that we are not suppose to weaponize space(sorry, I don't know the name of it...) If we start launching nuclear warheads in space, so will everyone else. Arm races are not good for anyone, they generate hate and fear. It would be even worse if one of those satellites' orbits decay and spill uranium everywhere across the UK, US, or other huge population centers.
Ok, so he wants to cut down the DOD and slow weapon systems. Remember: he only can VETO things. He can't just sign things into LAW. "Umm, let's legalize face punching... ok there it is." Congress has their check and balance. Even with a pro democratic congress/house they will only get so much down because elections come every 2 years for the house and every 6 for the senate. Clinton downsized the military and everyone loved him because he bailed us out of debt! We didn't get conquered there... we probably won't now.
America can speak with votes. AWB bill passed with a democratic congress, next election: very republican congress all the sudden... weird.
I don't see a mad man. I see idealist goals. But, he has also said that he would actually listen to his generals unlike some other guy did...

You're hungry. Along comes a guy. He tells you that you're actually starving and he feels your pain. You tell him you haven't eaten in a while because you're tired of eating from the same menu all the time and now think everything on the menu tastes like crap. So he hands you a sandwich of his own. You look at it through the wrapper and it looks grand. Instead of eating it, you start to show it off and sell all your friends on what great sandwiches this guy has for sale. Everyone buys in and before you know it, his is the only shop in town.
One day you and your friends finally have a big sandwich eating party. You all take a big bite only to realize they're actually sh*t sandwiches.
To top it all off, you look at the guy, and realize you never noticed his sh*t-eating grin and that all he ever actually had to offer was horsesh*t.
