Yes they do.
John Wayne Gacy and Ted Bundy are two that come to mind.

Both were found to be "Perfectly Sane" when they committed their heinous acts.

I disagree. As far as I am concerned, what you term evil is just a form of insanity.

Then you're discarding the concept of free will.

Don't confuse different choices, even evil ones, with different reality.

I wouldn't have been a part of the Einsatzgruppen. That would have put me completely outside of the "norms" of society in NSDAP Germany. Would that have made me "insane"? Odilo Globocnik might have thought so. I'm sure he would have considered it "evil".

Would my wild contravention of German social norms have made me "insane"? Or would it have meant that I CHOSE not to conform?

I definitely believe in good and evil.

Would evil take advantage of a disillusioned youth? Is he just crazy, mentally unstable, or whatever one wants to call it?

Is this thing cut and dry? Heck no.

But I do believe in pure evil.

Good and evil has been recognized and talked/written about since the beginning of time.

I heard one interview with a person that was in another class. He was asked if he had a CCW which he replied yes. The reporter asked if he was armed at the time and he said yes. H esaid he strated toward the gun fire and a staffer told him to go the other way which he did. Reporter kept pushinf about the gun he carried and finally he said a Glock 40. Maybe he could have stopped the shooter, maybe not. The fault lies in the schools GUN FREE ZONE and those that enforce it.

The "Gun Free Zone" information is getting some traction in the media, and with some politicians. I think that this is the tactic that we should use. Make it clear that criminals, and the mentally ill will not follow more laws. Committing a crime with a gun is already illegal. We don't need more laws, or background checks, criminals will always get their weapons.

Of course, anti's will not allow themselves to be encumbered by logic.

Perhaps legislators would hear it, though, assuming there are enough of those who use logic.
