2 of my .22's (Marlin 60 and Remington 597) do not have slings or the screws to mount the slings.

Most of the slings Im seeing have the swivels on em so I would really only need the screw sets.

Can someone post a product number for the Uncle Mikes Screws Id need for these guns? Of course the Marlin is a wood stock and the Remy is synthetic.

I also have a Maverick 88 that has no sling screws on it. Which Uncle Mikes kit do you recommend for this? Im guessing there is one that screws to the mag tube.

On the Marlin 60 I think there is a kit to mount the sling to the tube. Id rather go to the stock.

Enlighten me.

You can buy the swivel and screw/bolt sets at Walmart, where I bought mine.

You can buy the swivels only, or swivel with screw/bolt, for the same price.

as stated by easy

just buy the ones at walmart

i've used the same set for both wood and synthetic
never had a problem
have those on over 5 rifles

the 60 just drill and screw it in the stock
but watch out in the backend dont go to close to butt
about 2.5" away from the butt and you should be ok
