Have been bitten by a bug, not sure what it is, but have suddenly found myself gathering up all the old rifles in my house that no one wanted anything to do with, taking them down, cleaning them, and getting them to work again. My latest project is a single shot .22 that has been in my attic since I was very young and my grandmother didn't want me to touch.

It's in decent enough shape, metal is brown rather then blue, stock has a few dings in it.. The major problem is I think it's missing an internal piece or two. Bolt works fine, however it doesn't catch with anything when you pull the cocking knob back and the trigger just kinda sit's there with no real use. I've been looking online to try to find a schematic or a blown up view but, as of yet, have been un-sucessful. Here's the specs

Side of the barrel is stamped Model 04 A, 22 long and short rifle. 21 inch barrel. The odd thing I noticed about this rifle is the trigger is held by a pin that is forced through the stock. Found it interesting, never had seen that before lol.

If anyone knows anything, or knows a website that could help me out I'd appreciate it.

Thanks guys, now to go work on the 1868 Springfield trapdoor rifle that was next to it in the attic lol.
