I stand corrected........Sons of Guns, Seinfield and Two and a Half Men.....yep, that tells the tale for sure.

And Chuck Norris is real and can kick your #%$&*.

.......this is fun.

I'm trying to figure out what they did to make ten 458 SOCOMs cost $95k total. Did they stuff the stocks with gold bullion?

Doesn't anyone recognize these "Shooting, Gun, Explosion" TV programs as ANTI GUN PROPAGANDA?

They fire "BLACK RIFLES" at targets and the target explodes into a fireball with shrapnel flung all over the place. Somehow they fail to tell you that the shooter has planted 5 pounds of Tannerite, a gallon of gasoline and 10 pounds of powdered charcoal in the target. No they also fail to tell you that the star of the program has an ATF explosives license.
Next comes the RE-Hab of an anti tank gun.... Bang, the target explodes in the same way. Somehow they fail to explain that the projectile that was launched was an inert slug and the super explosion was nothing more than a dynamite charge or lots of Tannerite. People seem to forget or just plain don't know that destructive devices, like the bazooka shell, mortar shell, cannon shell, or any other explosive projectile is illegal to possess outside the military.
I almost puke when the average passerby walks in the shop and declared he wants to buy a machine gun. Problem????? NO PROBLEM lets whip up a super machine gun for him!
No wonder there are the Finesteins and other anti gun ignorant officers of the government who want to get rid of these devices.
We should demand that the people who air these shows publicize the facts relating to this entertainment.

Sorry about the rant! Now I must get back to the questions about whether you can safely fire a 50BMG in a 22WM safely.
erm...they make it very clear that they are putting explosives in the targets. They many times even joke after the explosion about how much explosive was used and how so and so outdid themselves on that one, etc.

It was 40 total, but they only had 30 barrels. That still works out to $2375 each...and that's the cost to the distributor!

Somebody must have thought that Red Jacket logo was really worth a LOT!

When they were more about builds and less about the gossip and drama, it was fun to watch. Now it's less about the actual build and more about making things go boom and who quit and who is squeezing who and who pizzed off the owner.

Pass.
Waste of a good idea and time slot.

I'd rather watch how Ruger or another gun maker produces the guns we buy and how they take them and improve/change them for their NM, target and military applications.

I DVR it and watch it at random times as filler when there is nothing else to do. I could do w/o the drama, I do like to see the different guns. Vince was squared away, but his attitude soured, Flem is the squared away one now and still acts professional.

I like it best when they are working on cannons, WWII MGs etc...I cringe when they touch an AR.

When does Chuck Norris walk into there shop with some type of Full Auto and says to Will make this a game changer? I would hate to loose some respect for him like I did for Jessie James....I'm still in shock seeing what they did to that poor BAR:mad:

If I get that desperate for something to watch I just go outside and watch my grass grow however since we're confessing here I have to say that I have watched some of the shows for weapons that I would never see otherwise. American Guns was cancelled and Sons of Guns was almost - don't think these will be lasting shows.
