And I am dead serious...not being a smart-@ss!
I called them up today so that I can change my FFL3 license over to my new address (yes, I know I suppose to do that BEFORE I move..but didn't). Anyway, the first person I talked to was very nice/polite and said I needed an "amendment form". Great! Sounds easy enough. Then I ask where I can get that form...if it was online or if I had to have it sent to me, she kindly transfers me and the next person I talk to should NOT have been talking to the general public.
This lady must have been retarded...literally. I had to repeat myself several times and when she responded, you could tell that something "just wasn't right about her". I had to slow my speech down as if I was talking to an elementary school kid.
Now, I like the fact that H/C people earn a living for themselves, but being "customer service" is not the position for this person! If I was a paranoid type of person, I'd say that BATFE did this on purpose to make it more difficult for people to find questions out about obtaining a FFL!
I don't think this is unreasonable...I've had easier times talking to customer support people from India!
