This belonged to the father of my dad;s best friend growing up. Somehow, my dad ended up with it, and I recently was given it by my oldest brother. I believe it dates to around 1921 or 1922.

Looks like mine...Ser # 263, latest patent date on receiver 1903, 12-ga, full choke, made in Ogden, Utah...

It's provided me with a truckload of Sacramento Valley pheasants, quail, ducks, and geese! Still shoots fine...I just moved away and haven't shot it for many years.

I'm suprised some one didn't want to to cut the barrel down or trade it for a Mossberg. Nice gun, it is nice to see someone who is not afraid of zombies posting about a nice gun.

HUNTSMAN, in 1903 FN got the contract to manufacture this model in Belgium. I don't know what serial number the switch was made...I'd like to know!:D
