I like old military surplus weapons. I bought my first surplus rifle back in 1985. Or was it 1986? Anyway, it was a 1916 Spanish Mauser and I still have it.
But over the year I have found that the pretty surplus guns just don't appeal to me as much as the ones that show hard use. I'm not talking about rusted and broken guns, but the ones that still show the signs of use.
The military refurbished ones are alright and still have history in them, but the old War horses are still painted with history.
So if you like and have an Old War Horses post a pic of it.
