Darn straight! I'll let you know how it goes...if I can get a recording of it, I'll post it up.

Fight On, Brother!!!

I'm set to return to the DC area in about a year.

I could live either in Maryland or in Virginia. I choose to set up a home (and pay taxes) where I still have the right to protect myself and my family.

"Gun Control: Putting Uppity Negroes In Their Place Since 1877"

Good luck!

^ :scrutiny:

Hey Jim Crow, that's a bit of an antiquated/ignorant statement, don't you think? :uhoh:

Yes as I do recall Missouri only recently repealed firearms laws that were specificaly ment to make it harder for African Americans to obtain firearms.

easy choira,
foreign dude was not making a racist statement. he was saying, truthfully so, that many gun control laws were aimed at minorities.

For those that don't live in MD. You can hear the station live here supposedly
http://www.wbal.com/
but I can't get it to work on my computer properly. Maybe you can on yours.

East Coast time it is now 2:51 and almost time for the broadcast.

MSP sound like a bunch of Goose Stepping Facists for the most part...

Not to start a flame war or thread lock, but why do these people who work for Maryland, want to rob the rights away from them?

You have to understand the mentality here in the Democratic Peoples Republic of Maryland, romma. If you own gun(s), you're obviously a criminal who simply hasn't been caught yet.

The MSP feel that they should be the only ones allowed to own/carry a firearm, period.

It will, eventually become illegal to buy/sell/own a firearm in this state, but I won't be living here when it does.

"Gun Control: Putting Uppity Negroes In Their Place Since 1877"

1705, actually. The Virginia Slave Codes of 1705, among other things, prevented blacks from owning or possessing firearms. As near as I can tell it was the first gun control law in the colonies.

NRANews picked up the story, and is going to have me on around 940pm tonight on Cam's show...so in cased you missed what's going on here in MD in my case, it'll be on again.

Sorry For The Mix-Up

My earlier comment (i.e., "Gun Control: Putting Uppity Negroes In Their Place Since 1877") was, as some of you deduced correctly, an allusion to the racist roots of gun control laws, especially "May Issue" licensing schemes. Admittedly, it's not entirely accurate, but I think it gets to the core of the issue and it connects gun control to a reprehensible social attitude: racism.

How about: "Support Gun Control: Jim Crow Would Approve"...

Make no mistake, Foreign Dude is on the money--gun control is about suburban white folks trying to patriarchally protect black and hispanic folk from themselves by taking guns away from other white folks.

It's like telling me I can't have a beer because Britney Spears is a drunk white trash idiot.

The local Fox45 news channel just heard about what's happening to me via Ron Smith's show and are interviewing me on Thursday next week.

This thing is really gaining momentum, and thanks to support from my fellow RKBA advocates. Thanks!

We might really be able to use this as leverage to change the way MD's unfair, biased, capricious system handles permits.

Explain how well Shall issue works in other States and how without it Chronyism and different classes of citizens are unfair for all Americans.

My 2 cents!

Yeah! We need someone to fight for that! I live in Southern Maryland, and I'm going to be 18 soon, I'll be getting my first official firearm. The next step after that is carry... but we don't allow it.
Give them Hell!

I live in MD and just started collecting earlier this year. I had no issues getting my collectors license, which allows me to get out of the one registered firearm per 30 days rule. I still have to do the long waiting period and deal with the AR15 magazine issue..oh and the fact that the state doesn't trust a law abiding citizen to defend themselves.

Ok so yeah this state sucks. Too bad my job is here. I guess I'll just wait until I am threatened and stabbed and beaten and then maybe I will be able to carry.
