Has anyone ordered from them?..I just placed an order for some 243 brass..I was a little worried because of the generic sounding name, but I keep a small bank account open just for online purchases..I assume they are legit, but I thought the ordering process was a little fishy..Any other card purchases I make have little pad lock symbols in the box you put your card info, but this site did not..I went ahead, and ordered some because the price was good (shipping kinda high though),and I don't keep too much in that account, but I do wonder if I made a mistake.

They very well may be,and probably are legit, but I transfered my balance on that card, except for a few dollars to another account..They sent an invoice for my order to my email, and it was from Monster commerce..My bank verified that all they took out is the proper ammount..I just transfered the balance on the card to be on the safe side.

I haven't purchase any brass in the last year or so, but I have bought some 45 ACP, .44 Magnum, 30-06 and 308 brass from them. No problems...

it appears to me that the financial transactions are actually handled securely via monster commerce. its not much different than paying via paypal. in any case, if you pay by credit card you have an extra layer of protection. I don't understand why people use bank accounts for these transactions. debit cards are far less secure and offer less protection to the cardholder.

Jack, Never heard of them either, let us know. I have used http://rangebrass.us for a bulk order, 223. Was very happy with them.
Just for future reference if you don't see the padlock, don't do it. You should also see https for secure ordering.
I noticed right away that it didn't seem real secure compared to other sites I order from, but I found 243 brass for $15 per hundred too good a deal to pass on,even though it is Federal..I kinda of regretted it as soon as I ordered though..I will feel better if I get my order,if not I've learned a lesson...

I'm not sure if this is the same website or not but one looking very similar to that one drove me crazy for weeks. I made a profile to see what shipping and what not would be and it was way high so i didn't order. I started getting emails and phone calls from whoever owns the site asking if i still wanted the brass i left in cart. I'm just sitting there saying how the heck does this guy know i made the profile and left the brass in the cart. He tells me on my voicemail that he has the order processed for 500pc 223 brass but i didn't not put a credit card number in so until he receives payment he will hold the brass. I got a call daily and emails daily until i responded to the email that i found something else and sorry for the inconvenience. he responded that if i needed a discount to let him know and he would help me out. If i remember right it was like LEO brass or something like that.

From now on any website that makes me create a profile just to see how much shipping is or anything along those lines gets a fake name, telephone number and address just so i can check shipping charges.

Now i only order 223/5.56 brass from brassbombers.com and 9mm brass from RMR. never had an issue with either place.

I used them for pistol brass, no problem. In fact, I ordered some from Graf's at the same time and their product was much better than Graf's.

Several orders both pistol and rifle and no complaints. Accurate descriptions on their products. Good to go!

Went their just now and the check-out page is https, which means it is a secure page. Certificate is from Network Solutions which is a legitimate company. Looks like everything is OK with the web site as far as being secure.

what did it come out to with shipping?
I have heard of them and might have even ordered long ago. The .243 looks good.

The shipping is a little high IMO..$15 for 200 243 brass ,it was $9 for 100..This is the price for them to ship to my zipcode (25241),so it's just a ballpark figure.I would assume that bigger brass may have higher shipping, and smaller have lower.

Jack

If you are buying small quantities (500 pcs) of once fired then ok. But if your up for having bunker quantities then it is easy to find much better deals.

To give an example, in 9mm, once-fired-brass dot com sells 500 pc for $19.99 shipped. That is 4 cents per case. If your open to a purchase of 5 or 6 thousand pieces then you should be able to get the price to roughly 2 cents/unit. As an example, nereloading dot com sells 6000 pcs for $131.00 delivered. It's good stuff I have used them several times. Some might say, and there is a certain amount of truth to it, that paying for 9mm is silly because many times you can find it laying on the ground for free. But I personally like to have 40K+ pcs of 9mm brass on hand and while I usually return from a trip to the range with 100s more pieces of brass than I bring with me, there is something to be said for accepting a box from the delivery man vs. spending hours picking it up off the ground. Of course to some shooters 500 rounds is a years worth of ammo, to others its about 2 or 3 hours of shooting.

At any rate I would contact once-fired and ask them if they offer higher quantity discounts.

After your post, I went on the site and priced out shipping on an order of 250 9mm and 250 .223 and it came to $15. So, I think they must be factoring weight or volume into a tiered pricing system. One of the other sellers I use charges $13 for an order of 200 9mm + 300 .223, so I don't think it's too far out of line.
