A few months back I built up a Mossberg HS .410 for a friend that wanted something for home defense. He fired it and practiced with it and got the wife at least comfortable with it in the house. Well, it turns out that he had fallen heir to a sizable cache of guns, including a .357 service revolver, that he had never fired. So we went out to the local range and got him checked out (first with a Mk II, then the .357), and he has been shooting somewhat regularly. He called Friday, told me he had taken the CCW class and aced the test, was on his way to the range for live fire. He expected to get his CCW by the end of April. The business he runs no longer has the "No Guns Allowed" stickers on the door.
