...it was a GREAT one, that is...took a little time off work this afternoon to swing by a local public rifle range and get to know my Christmas-new Bushmaster carbine a little better. Also needed to brush-up and get zeroed-in ahead of this weekend's RWVA Appleseed shoot.
Had the range to myself, some cloud cover to block the scorching sun, and 200 rounds spent against targets at 25-100 yards, including a couple of magazines' worth of FMJ sent gonging off a steel plate at the 100-yard mark. Now THAT is some afternoon recreation!
