Opinion on this sig?

Found a really good website for gun purchasing and came across a used sig sauer p6 9mm and for 300 dollars you get the sig and 2 mags. Anybody personally shot one of these and it is used opinions on buying and the price they are offering I know that sig sauer are nice firearms?

Personally i love the SIG P6. Great gun and shoots every time. Feels good in your hand due to the single stack mag, but it is a relatively low capacity 9mm. As a CCW it's great but if you have the option to get something that holds more and still conceal it well I'd do that. I still like to shoot P6's though. Just the low capacity isn't the greatest thing for SD unless it's the only thing you can conceal.

Most of them I have seen online have been just marginally lower priced than that - about $280 or 290.

These pistols are said to be German police surplus. They are very similar to the P 225 but some of them have some minor differences. Some have a slightly different feed ramp that may make it picky with some brands of JHPs. Folks say you can find JHPs that will work, but apparently you may have to try a couple different brands. FMJ apparently is no problem. The other thing some folks point out is a heavier DA trigger (though apparently not true of all of them).

Even the folks who do experience these "issues" still say the P 6 is a great value for the money.
