optic for mvp patrol 223

What would you guys put on mvp patrol? Rifle will stay in the truck most of the time. Primery use is quick into action coyote, squirrel or any there pest. Will mostly shoot light amex or simular bullets range out to maybe 350 yards.
Was thinking vortex viper pst 1x4. Have one ony spr type ar and like it a lot.

I was going to suggest either a Millet DMS-1 or similar Burris.
Both illuminated 1-4x scopes.
The Vortex 1-4x should be a great match as well.
