I wanted to build a tool tower to connect stuff to, to make things like my power cop monitor more easy to use. I also wanted to be able to switch it and my press lighting back and forth between progressives.

I know the picture is busy…heck I even connected my spare powder measures to the top of it. But the red arrow point to the vertical and horizontal legs of the tower.

In a nut shell, I got my nephew, a pretty fair welder….(who does underwater welding for a ship repair company) to weld me an angle made of 2” steel square tubing….that would be screwed to my shelf above the presses and hang SOLID all the way to the bench behind my presses.

To the vertical arm of it, I drilled and screwed a door hinge (visible top left corner) and mounted my video monitor to it….so it could swing to the best angle to be viewed from each press.

I also screwed a rare earth magnet also to the vertical (from an old computer hard drive) to hang parts to my press from....to make them instant handy.

Below shows both presses and where the video screen, and the tower sets between.

First switch settings are for the Pro Chucker 7 and the case shown is .308.

The second switch settings move the video to the Pro 2000 and .45 ACP.

Another quick concept video to show how the screen swivels on the tower.

What are you using for a screen, a small HMI?
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007SLDF7O/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It went up $6 since 2014........but it's still working good as new....guess that's a good thing. There may be better ones (spec-wise) 5 years later.....

I did threads on both press/camera implementations .... the first camera on the pro 2000 died (my fault) was discontinued....these I've noticed are getting harder to find. The smaller the better. Mine is mounted with epoxy under the casting....so has a field of view of the shell plate.

For the Pro Chucker ....I mean I have 7 stations.... so I used one station to mount a bore/pipe scope....less field of view but you don't need that, if your case comes up through the bore. However 5 stations is enough if you already use one for a powder cop. (in the following thread see the last post) https://www.thehighroad.org/index.p...on-for-my-pro-chucker-7.840175/#post-11204341

I remember your other posts, I just didn't remember what you used for a screen. Rear view camera monitor, now that's priceless. I wouldn't have thought of that.
Thank you and good job. I like it.
I thought about putting a vision system on mine from Keyence that I had at home but after I found the control panels for my Hornady AP for $20.00 each on 90% clearance and bought three of them, I found out the powder check die proved to be within 3grs of advertised accurate for over/under variation, 1 1/2 each way, so I didn't go through with it.
I still like good ideas and yours is a good one. I have more than one press (3 active) and they aren't all Hornadys.
I gave one (I bought 3 for that price) of the control panels to Dudedog for his generosity from the past, am using one, and still have the other one for spare parts.

Thank you for sharing. I appreciate it.

No matter how hard I try I will never be that organized.

Yes you will.....besides desire all it takes is one step at a time and patience.

BTW, your name Skeptic13 gave me a smile..... I'm a believer! I saw one when I was 16....broad daylight 10 AM. ;) No, I'm not kidding. :D

I need to add a line to my signature, I see.....

Rear view camera monitor, now that's priceless. I wouldn't have thought of that.

Thank you sir.....I've never been accused of not being cheap....:)
