This is a takeoff on the semi auto thread that got raised up from the dead. What other action(pump, lever, bolt, single, etc) rifles would you like to see?

I would like to see a lever action in 500 S&W.

bolt action 9mm carbine, a modern Spanish "destroyer". I'm considering shelling out the bucks for a custom.

It would be great for target, plinking and small to medium game within 75-100 yards. Cheap ammo, lots of choices in ammo.

I would certainly buy two Marlin lever action 17HMRs if Marlin would step up to the plate and produce.

I talked to a Marlin rep. in Milwaukee last year, and he stated that Marlin would NEVER make them. :(

Guess I will just have to settle for shooting the Winchester 9417 instead. :D

I'd like to see a semiauto rifle that works like the military shotgun Benelli brought out long ago. The action is semiauto or a pump with a simple push of the button.

I'd also like to see a semiauto .22LR rifle that's belt fed! It'd be exceedingly cool to have a .22LR linking machine set up for range days.

I'd also like to see double rifles made again only affordable and in calibers people can afford to shoot. Drilling s would be rad as well, again affordable is an operative term here.

I'd like to see a folding stock semiauto 10MM with 50 round drum, and 30 round "stick" magazines available.

And a short, light, "sporting" type semi auto with 10 round box mag in .460 S&W, 500 S&W and .475 Linebaugh.

Me?

I want to see a big game rifle based on the Dardick revolver design. Think how nifty a Super .300 Short Mag Tround would be...Essex

"HiroProX .50 Beowulf or 6.5mm Grendel in a carbine length double rifle. "

Well a 20G slug is close enough to a .50 Beowulf that you could save a vast fortune by just getting a citori.

The Spartan line from Remington had rumored making O/U and SXS rifles in .223 Remington which is close enough again. Should you require more power you could just get the 30-06 model.

Both options are compromises to dream guns but you're closer than most of us!

I don't have either a 20 gauge shotgun or a .50 Beowulf, but that just does not sound right.

As far as rifles....I want a modern revolving carbine in .44 Mag/Spl. :)

A stainless steel detachable magazine fed 22lr pump action.
A semiauto carbine that takes 50AE Desert Eagle mags.
