I guess you would likely go into a fit at Gander Mountain out here in Texas. Many more guns all on racks out in the open. You want to look at one? Pick it up and look at it. Most of them don't bite. I don't understand the whole take a number thing, maybe crime is a problem out there.
But Gander Mountain is mostly just hunting guns. Guns Galore in Killeen is a whole different kind of world. Every Square foot of the store is filled with guns. Every kind imaginable from ARs and AKs to milsurps of all description. Most except the hand guns and high dollar stuff just pick it and look at it. More than 3000 firearms in stock in a store of about 1000 square feet. Half of them you have to climb a ladder to reach. Go ahead and help yourself. While they don't have everything they have most things. Too bad their prices are too high.
