when i load up my mag and eject all by pulling the slide, the last 2 dont extract all the way, especially with the last round. It doesnt go anywhere. does this prove anything to be wrong with extracting the last case when firing?

Since noone else has offered anything...

The only way to know if the problem will repeat while firing is to, well, fire it. I have no idea as to what could be causing the FTEs on the last two rounds, and not the others. However, FTE problems occurring while manually cycling the gun is a bad sign.

what ammo are you using, and do you have new or old mags?

edit: does the gun's serial begin with L, and do the mag serials end with -a?

I would be looking at the mags. That is most likely where the problems lies at. Also as the gentleman started earlier, try changing out ammo

The gun serial # begins with "N" and the mags end in "A". I shot it to see if they would eject when I shot it and they do, but for some reason they are thrown straight up and sometimes hit my face. I dont really care though, as long as it works. Thanks for the input.

Check the barrel nut, when mine gets loose it starts throwing brass straight up because the ejector slips off the rim of the cartridge.

I also recommend trying different ammo.
Try CCI Minimags. Most .22 autos that act up with cheap ammo will work fine with CCI.

If the gun works with CCI, it's not a gun problem.
If it acts up with CCI, I'd call Walther.
