Whats the verdict on these ... they look real comfortable, but are they? And are they well made?

I just got my hands on a RRA AR15 and really don't like the stock grip, that little finger-grove like thing that sticks out hits right in the middle of where one of my fingers goes.

Both well made, both comfortable. Hint: for muscle memory training get something similar to your pistol (and shottie).;)

See that metal piece under the rubber grip? That's SOLID STEEL... This thing is a heavy grip. It will change the ballance of the rifle and make it heavier. I'm serious abou this, buy the Hogue... it's lighter.

Well Badger, that decides it for me.

Mine has a stainless steel heavy barrel and I feel its a touch nose heavy, maybe the Pachmayr will balance the rifle out a bit.

I agree, Zundfolge; I don't know who the idiot was that decided on putting that damned bump there. I settled for a Duckbill grip and you can get them from CDNN for $8. I like it, it works well and is comfortable. Also, take a look at the Battlegrip. It looks like a copy of the original Stoner and is being handled by Buffer Technologies.
