I've looked at them and rejected them for holding the gun too low and requiring both hands (one to pull the holster up, the other to draw the gun from the holster) to use. If you're going to be carrying inside the waistband anyway, it is not that difficult to conceal a more conventional IWB holster.

Yes, I have one for a Glock 27, but I don't use it.

Even though you have to use two hands to use the Pager Pal, it seemed like the perfect solution for when you want to wear your shirt tucked in and not wear a jacket.

The problem is that the bulge is too high to look like you're carrying a wallet or such in your pocket and therefore makes it a dead give away. Although I suppose that you could strategically place it to look like you were particularly glad to see Mae West!

I have a DeSantis Nemesis pocket holster that does a much better job of concelaing the Glock 27. IIRC, I paid around $14 for the DeSantis.

I think guns about the size of a Kahr PM9 or a small-frame, two-inch revolver are about the maximum practical size for one while still maintaining reasonable concealability as well as comfort. Full size, five-inch 1911s, as I frequently see depicted as being used in this holster, seem pretty fanciful.

I bought one a few years back, thought it was the coolest. Wrong, they do create a noticible bulge and aren't very comfortable when seated. You can wear pleated or baggy pants to help lessen the bulge but you can't make it less uncomfortable to carry. Needless to say it has been retired.

It seems that most of the people buying these are the ones just getting into carrying concealed. The holster "sounds good," but in practice, as illustrated by several here, it just doesn't cut it.

Once again..I'll post my version. I call it the Cell-Pal. Its' still in the testing stages, but I really do think I'm on to something.

Grip Camo, I like it. You may consider using Scotch tape for a more subdued look.

I bought and tried a pager pal. Did not like it. Too unreliable on the draw, not concealable enough except witha very small firearm.

Also, if you need to disarm, like when going to the bank or post office, and are seated in a car, it is virtually impossible to extarct the entire holster with firearm while seated. If you just remove the firearm and leave the Page Pal on, you get two problems:

- The empty Pager Pal prints like crqzy with normal weight pants, as the stiff backing on it tends to CURL if you have been seated for a while

- Getting the firearm back into the Pager Pal, while seated in the car, is pretty much impossible
