Painting Rifle stocks

I have done the handguards on my AK-47 as well as the standard stock on a 10/22 in truck bed liner. Comes in a spray can and can be picked up at wally-world or your local auto parts store. Only about 7 bucks a can. Turns out nice. Has been very durable so far.
-On a side note, I did a couple of AK mags with this stuff and they turned out great. Just use them for the range and banging around in the shooting bag. I also did a mag for my AR and the stuff has started to come off in flakes. I don't know why it did not work on the AR mag.

(wow.....the side note was longer than my post! Sorry)

Cisco, I also used this truck bed liner on AK stock & handguards, also used it on a few com block mags, and it is holding up great.
The trick to using any paint, is prepping, no oil is a must and deglossed is very important.

How does that truck bed liner do on barrels?Seems like it would be cheaper, faster, and more durable than reblueing.

454, truck bed liner, gives a lite texture, I would suggest using Brownells bake on paint, it's $9 per can & real easy to use and is very durable.

Truck bed liner is great on stocks & handguards and pistol grips.

This is a picture of one of many stocks sets done in truck bed liner, I just recently purchased a K-Var stock set, I like the extra length.

This in photo is a east german stock set.
