Texas, baby!
saw some nice old 22's there today; some good winny 190's,some nice winny levers, even some ruger levers and in 22 mag, and a ruger 44mag, for 390!!! and some remmy 550's and some speedmasters. most overpriced, but most of these guys are desperate to move some inventory, so go haggle.
them and many others will be at the reliant show, next weekend.
couple of remmy 600's, one in 243 and one in 6mm, both were under 400 bucks, but one has an ugly cammo paint job, will def need to be stripped.
But here is the kicker; K&K SALES , has the new dpms " SPORTICAL AR'S " ; this is a barebones ar, with a flattop receiver, flattop gasblock, no sites, but rails on top of both of the reciever/gasblock. 16 inch bbl, not quite a pencil bbl, a little thicker than that, but not a govt. profile either. collapsible stock, round forearms; Dpms had reccomended them to sell at I think 700 or so, but the above dude is selling them for 650!!!!!
Very nice, I didn't want to get back into ar's at all, but this is really tugging at my wallet, HARD!!!! If Bachman or AJCS sportshop had them, then they sold out, but I would bet K&K still has some tommorrow, and there will be more at the gunshow at Reliant, next week. I stupidly did not get the bbl twist rate, I am not worthy.

I'd rate K&K up there with Bachman and AJC in terms of consistently good prices, although its a lot smaller operation. He's a good guy and did a transfer for me and let me pick it up at the next show -- most convenient (I wasn't in a hurry and had never seen an RIA longslide Match in the flesh, but had to have one when Centerfire Systems had them in their catalog, great gun!).
