I’ve been shopping for a Swedish Mauser for a while now and I found two of them at an LGS, one of them is an all original infantry rifle made in 1907, it’s really nice. But there’s another there too. It has a rear peep and front globe sight unlike anything I’ve ever seen on a Swedish rifle. At first I thought it was some sort of aftermarket sight system. But it doesn’t seem that way, it sits completely flush with the receiver and seems to actually be made for the rifle. I don’t know enough about ‘em to say conclusively whether or not it is actually a specialized version of the M96 or not so I’m asking y’all.
