I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t fortifying my pellet stocks.
Its far easier for me to store pellets then real ammunition even .22LR. I keep a fair bit of real ammo but I want to be able to shoot my airguns at a whim at any time for X number of years without worry and storing an ample supply of pellets is feasible for my purposes.
The reality is the older I get the more pleasure I get from my airguns vs my “real guns”. Not that I don’t like to shoot it’s just that the airguns provide me with instant gratification whenever I want where even BEST CASE scenario I have to pack up guns and gear, drive somewhere, shoot, pack back home, clean etc. now most of the time that whole process is completely enjoyable but there is something to be said for I wanna shoot......I shoot.....done.
I anticipate more and more old school shooters giving airguns a go in the coming years and I anticipate that distribution structure to take a small hit.
