I have been on a bit of revolver purchasing frenzy, at least for me ... ( 3 past 2 weeks )
My future purchases will be a while ..
due to lack of funds :)
But my purchases will happen
I’d like to wait till gun sales slow a bit
Shelves get restocked

Maybe get a couple more Charters
Hopefully I can find a 6 Shot 32 H&R Undercoverette

And a Charter On Duty 38spl

12oz SD wheel guns just fascinate me

I like your purchasing trend. My last half dozen handgun buys, over a few years, were all revolvers. I prefer longer barreled versions, 6" or more. More forgiving to reload for, don't have to hunt for brass (the ground gets farther away every year), and I happen to think they look nicer than semi-autos. Good luck on your future purchases.

Jeff

I'm having the same problem. Maybe it's the virus in the air.
Bought 2 wheels lately, DW 44 and a S&W Top Break 38, depleted my fun money, now I'm looking for stuff to sell on craigslist so I can get more. Bunch of good deals at pawn right now in my area.

I use gun money for guns .. trade around and such ..that way never effects cash flow for daily living :)

But on the other hand , I have moved firearms at different times due to medical bills and such ..

I tried buying a couple more revolvers recently, but I kept on getting outbid by folks who are really driving prices up on 4" S&W .22 LR revolvers. I think they're not buying them as shooters, I think they're trying to make them the new safe-queen snake guns.

In fact I got a Ruger 10/22 Stainless International AND a Mk IV with a 10" barrel from Buds for the same amount that the last three 4" Smith Model-18 and Model-63 .22's I bid on went for.... and none of them were NIB either.

I do love almost all of the older S&W revolvers, but I'm not going to mortgage the farm to buy one.

Stay safe. :)

I have three vintage Undercover revolvers, dating from 1966, 1985, and 1987. They're all solid shooters, and I carry the '85 one a bit (it's the only one that's stainless, so no holster wear.) I bought the '87 the day I was sworn in on the job, in that year. The '66 was my dad's, made the same year in which I was born. It became mine on his death in 2010.

I'd also like to find a vintage Undercoverette. Had on in hand several years ago, marked like $250 or something. Should probably have grabbed it.

Pending Purchases ??? Heck, that could be about anything. I could be heading into a store for .22 bore patches and walk out with an unexpected high dollar purchase.

Currently the only thing I'm ACTIVELY looking for is :

1) CVA Kentucky percussion rifle with one piece stock in .45 cal
2) Talo John Wayne Ruger Single 6 in .32 H&R

Hi...
Speaking of revolver buying...this year has been pretty much revolver buying time.
Since the first of the year, I have bought a used Uberti Remington 1875 clone in .45Colt, a Virginian Dragoon in .44Magnum and just yesterday I got a 1979s era S&W Model 27-2 in .357Magnum.

My only other firearm purchase this year(so far), is a brand new Marlin lever action .44Magnum.

Five months and four firearms purchased...trying hard to keep up with the one firearm per month mantra the leftists always demand as a reasonable part of their gun control schemes.

Got all I need for now. I figure in a few more months prices will go down and availability will go back up, if and when another need arises.

I am looking for a 3 in gp100 and 4 in redhawk. But I'm waiting for things to settle down. Patience.

I found a great deal on a 357 TALO GP100 7 shot GP100 with a 2.5 inch barrel and compact grips last week .. I came this close ( holding my thumb about a half a inch from my pointing finger )
In purchasing it ... beautiful gun

Local, I assume?

I picked up a Ruger New Vaquero in .45 Colt in March. Finally got to shoot it last Friday due to CoVid 1984. Nice 6 shooter.
At the end of 2019 I had purchased a S&W 63.
My next planned revolver might be an S&W 327 TRR8. I have wanted one of those since they came out with them. I have a 327 Night Guard. It needs a big brother. I say “planned” because I have been planning on buying one for 3 years but other deals got in the way, like; a 19-4, a 17-3, a 36-1, a 60 Pro and some other none revolver guns that don’t matter in this conversation ;)

I love wheel guns. I wish I had more money...but don’t we all?
