More on the semi-auto for hunting thing: You can't use a .22 semi to hunt squirrels or small game. Manually operated repeaters or single shots only.

To amplify what Joe D. said, you cannot use semiauto rifles or pistols for hunting in PA. Nor airguns. You can use semiauto shotguns, however.

Yep, but you can't get clever and try loading up that semi-auto shotgun with slugs for deer season.

Does this mean that you carry in your vehicle if you have a CCL from any state in the US? So even if I have an Arizona permit that isn't valid in PA, as long as its valid somewhere in the US I can keep a gun in my car?

PA is a gun friendly state, I belong to a club on the east side of PA . Lots of good gun people here.
