Pennsylvania Gun Owners support Hillary before Obama?

Their followers are misguided sheep being herded into cattle cars and they don't even know it.

Once they achieve what they want, meaning wealth and fame and luxury, they will stomp on the Constitution and the Bill Of Rights with steel toed boots.

I agree completely but they want power, it's not about money it's power which will bring them money. Within the first term of the next president people will look back and say we couldn't have even foreseen this. The North American Union will be one of the World players. America will soon be history.

There are a lot of PRO FREEDOM and PRO FIREARM issues at stake along with many, many other important issues in past, present and future elections.

Another candidate recently left the Republican Party and he ran against GWB in the primaries about 8 years ago. Alan Keyes. Pro gun man.
When you think of PRO GUN issues - think of PRO LIBERTY - PRO America First along with all of the other issues.

PAUL was good for all Constitutional pro gun and pro liberty issues way back when and he still is. Before his 1988 presidential run and AFTER his 1988 run. He still is GOOD.

If Paul does not make it... I will vote third party. I am tired of lesser of the evils. I have voted third party before. I am tired of getting screwed in GUN and liberty issues. I am tired of a lot of things from the R and D parties. The TOP runners are lying about their PRO GUN issues and many OTHER Constitutional - Putting America FIRST issues (Look at their record and what they are FOR!) and I can't give all of the specifics because it is NOT allowed on this forum.

PRO GUN = PRO LIBERTY = Constitution/Bill of Rights - defend it and uphold it or get out of your run for ANY political office!

America first - don't give amnesty to criminals = illegal aliens and the companies that hire them! LEGAL immigrants and citizens are not criminals.

Take care of America FIRST, her citizens and their FIREARMS = RKBA! The SECOND protects all of the other amendments and us from TYRANNY!

Respectfully yours,

Catherine

PS:

It is all about CONTROL and tons more which is NOT allowed on this forum.

I wrote about this YEARS ago and was called nuts when I said it was all about CONTROL. Now... some people get it and understand that what I said/wrote along with a FEW others who SAID and WROTE IT!

CONTROL = anti gun = tyranny = gun control = NO more USA in more ways than one!

Liberty!

H.R. Clinton scares a certain unmentionable substance out of me - but B.H. Obama scares me more.

He's the only candidate who has gone on record as being for a total ban on civilian handguns and a national ban on CCW. Sure, he's 'softened' that position in the past few months, but do you really believe the campaign trail spin?

So long as you understand that will be a vote for Hillary or Obama; that's always the case with the third party.

For the record...I didn't call anybody dumb. I asked if they were dumb.

...further...I am "left" on many, many issues. Gun rights is not one of them. I just don't understand how the lean can be towards Hillary (who is a known negative quantity when it comes to gun rights) away from Obama. I suppose fear of the unknown takes precedence over fear of the known.

Methinks the Heller decision is going to iron a great deal out...one way or another.

...Oh...and I am mostly just discouraged by the the fact that a very obvious "manufactured issue" (as Obama correctly describes it) can be so effectively deployed to transfix the media and the public.

Further, regarding single issue voters...it is a greatly misunderstood reality that the elections following the '94 ban probably turned out the way they did because a bunch of blue collar, salt of the earth, "bitter" types, voted Red instead of Blue. They won't say it at their Union halls...but they did it.

The Dems need to smarten up and drop the issue all together.

I take it you dont listen to Rush Limbaugh; literally thousands of Republicans switched their voter registration to Democrat so they could vote for Hillary because Hillary will be far easier for McCain to beat on the ballot. But frankly none of them are in our court, McCain is just the best of all running.

It was funny to watch the 6 O'clock news tonight and hear the Liberal Media so excited that some 5,600 people registered Democrat in Pennsylvania. LMAO Somehow they so often miss the obvious...and isn't that our problem? Take guns violent crime goes up sharply everywhere in the World but in the mind of a Democrat.:banghead:

Vote for Ron Paul.
The Democrats thank you.

Clinton, Obama, and McCain were all in a boat that started sinking.
Guess who was saved.

Instead of not voting or voting for someone that is the lesser of the evils, lets still vote for Ron Paul. He is a true hero of America, and by giving him all our votes, we will show the world how strong we Ron Paul supporters are and how strongly we are united for a common cause.

Ron Paul is an internet superhero.

The reason most people didn't vote for him is because the vast majority of people are libertarians. Most people don't like his ideas, and the world is not about guns, much as I wish it were.

Not true, not true; just wait till they get your guns and see what the World looks like? Like I said, read the pages in the back of the book and smell the coffee.

I'm serious if you just read this booklet, you will want to have thousands of copies printed and mail them to the people in government and ANYBODY who thinks repealing gun rights is the answer.

I think that Hillary is going to be more pragmatic about the second amendment.
Agreed. If for no other reason, she'll have Bill in the background saying, "Be careful, you know what happened to Al Gore." McCain seems strangely quiet about the gun issue this time. Could it be that both he and Hillary now view this as a deal breaker? We can only hope.

I'll hold my nose as I vote for McCain. He's a good man, but far from my ideal candidate. And no, I won't throw away my vote on a write-in.

Everyone who still hasn't voted yet, should vote for Hitlary. She is un-electable. It makes perfect sense for us to vote for her, so she can get the party.

I have gone on record as predicting that Hitlery will win PA over Obaminable, and she will go on to win the White House. I stand firmly by this, mainly because I'll be able to brag about having such foresight -- but if I'm wrong, I'll feel so good that it won't matter.

(QUOTE) "If we HAVE to have either Hillary or Obama in the White House, I think that Hillary is going to be more pragmatic about the second amendment.
Why?
SHE ALREADY WANTS A SECOND TERM.
I think that Obama would be far more dangerous to gun rights, because he sees himself as a crusader."

EXACTLY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well said,Honorable THR member "Bogie", i've beeen telling everyone that would listen the exact same thing for months !!!
"Hillary's a pragmatist, Obama's a BELIEVER."
That dude scares me.

Yea, just wait, if you think the economy is in trouble now, wait till the tax breaks go away and everybody loses a months income. Remember, that's about how much extra people took home when Bush cut taxes; that was a huge help to the economy and brought huge dollars into the government coffers as a result.

Political topics go into Activism Discussion forum -- provided they are accompanied by plans of action. Mere griping is no longer appropriate for THR. If you want to discuss an injustice or a political development, propose a remedy!

What's so hard to understand about this? Thread reported for lock, like all the others that have been popping up here lately.

Isn't it amazing how long this"political"thread is running(12 hours and counting) when Mark Steyn's great, Gun's and God piece,(the best I've read in years)was cut off in 45 minutes on Saturday. You agree, kingpin?
Someone must have gone on vacation.:)I wonder who?

Easy kingpin. Don't give yourself an ulcer.
This isn't just pointless griping since there IS action we can take - vote. Part of this was what to do with ours.

I would like to see a Politics forum on THR where interesting discussions like this could have a home. Sorry, APS just doesn't get the exposure THR does. I sent a note to the mods to this affect some weeks back but have no response...

Well, for one thing, Obama is for a national ban on concealed carry, a ban of any firearm with a semiautomatic action, one gun a month limit on puchases, etc. Hillary, as mentioned, is a pragmatist - a politician by nature. Barack Obama is guided by principles (misguided as they are) and will not compromise.
