Perfecta ammo at Walmart

Was walking through the ammo section in my local Wal Mart this morning on my way to a different section when I thought of this thread. 50 round boxes of Perfecta .380 for $9.77 or thereabouts IIRC. No signs indicating it was being closed out or even on sale. They also had the biggest bunch of 22LR stuff that I've seen there in a while and the prices are getting better. Didn't need any but it's nice to see the prices coming down some.

I'd like to know if it was a regional sale too. Just stopped by the local Walmart in Orlando. Only perfecta on the shelf was .380 , for $18.00 a box.

Definitely an isolated sale on the OP's location.

I have seen WM put some ammo on sale but on very few occasions and usually there are only a few left for me to buy.

But at $18.97 per 100 FMJ brass=less than $190 for 1000. I'll end up buying on line at some point but for this price I'll go to Wally World. Even Jeb if paying $7.99 shipping is paying more than that.
Maybe good for you stonebuster, but my Walmart rarely has it in stock. I also shoot PPU in 9mm, and it shoots fine. $189.00 shipped to door. Are you saying you can just walk in and get 10 boxes of 9mm right off the shelf? I also buy from Sportsman's guide. The 49.00 yearly fee pays for itself. You can buy discounted ammo and get mixed brands with free shipping over $75.00,

By the way Freedom delivered to my door is $191.59. I have no problem spending a extra $1.59 for the door to door service. Certainly that is worth the price of the Hassle of going to Walmart, waiting for the clerk, lugging it around etc. I will gladly pay it.

WalMart clearances can be funny.

Individual stores can have individual policies based on local conditions.

At the local WalMarts, at the end of blackpowder hunting season, start of fishing and boating season, they would start marking down muzzleloading supplies. Moving out the BP ML stuff, moving in the fishing and boating stuff. That was at the start of muzzleloading and blackpowder cartridge match season at the local gun club (Mar-Oct). I would watch prices on Triple 7 and buy my supplies at one-half to one-third list price. Once I picked up an unsold .50 CVA Bobcat rifle for $29.95 as a backup (or complete spare parts kit) for my .50 CVA Bobcat rifle.

My wife needed to grab something from Walmart today so I asked her to check on the Perfecta ammo to see what they had, particularly the .380 that has been mentioned here. She said that it was still marked at $17/50 but she had them scan it and it was $5/50. I had her grab 6 of the 17 boxes they had. I probably would have bought it all except for the fact that I don't even have a .380. :)
