Hi,
I went by a local Super Walmart today after a big breakfast.
I saw in the sporting goods ammunition cabinet they had a few boxes of a value brand pistol ammunition called Perfecta, .
I never heard of this line so it might be a new firm.
The 9x19mm 115gr FMJ had brass cases & ran approx $11.00 USD per box of 50. :D
I might swing back by there and snag a few boxes later this week. The Walmart had about 30-40 50rd boxes of 9mm so they were not in short supply.
It looked like they had 1 .40S&W box of Perfecta & maybe 1/2 brown boxes of .45acp. I couldn't see the unlit cabinet to read all the labels & prices.
$11.00/50rd of 9mm sounds good but I won't waste $$$ if the rounds are junk or misfire in modern pistols; Glock, M&P, etc.

The stuff works fine from what i hear, good plinking ammo. I think it's Italian mfg that is imported by Wolf. It's also nice in that it's reloadable.

It's made by Tula, and has worked flawlessly in everything I've put it through (Glock and Colt AR). Seems to be good stuff.

I got some for a friend who does not reload. It shot.

It is labeled as made in Italy, distributed by Tulaammo.

The trademark with the big F in PerFecta is the same as g shows for the British Fiocchi line. Hmm.

It's good to go.

I've picked up about a case's worth in both 9mm and .45 ACP -- no issues whatsoever through ten 9mm pistols and four .45s. Doesn't seem to be any dirtier than Winchester white box ...

I keep a lot of inexpensive ammo on hand (been using the Federal aluminum, too) for the area ranges that don't like us to pick up our own brass:mad:

Quality ...

It seems the 9x19mm PerFecta brand is good for training-marksmanship.
The Super Walmart had one 50rd box of Federal alloy case .45acp too.
I'm not a fan of alloy style practice ammunition. While in the US armed forces, I spoke to a few platoon members who advised me not to buy it, :uhoh: .
They said the cheaper metals could split or cause hot bits of metal to go flying.

When I get my next pay check(which will be in 2/3 days) I may buy 3 50rd 115gr 9mm boxes for my M&P Shield no thumb safety.

I've heard good things about the handgun ammo, not so much for the rifle ammo........

I've shot the 9mm, and .223 with no problems....clean brass for reloading, cheap too. My local WM has Tula steel priced the same as Perfecta.....

I'll be the one naysayer I guess.

My Beretta 92 has 965 rds through it so far. 150 rds Perfecta and 815 assorted other stuff like Tula steel, Fed aluminum, and various US-made brass ammo. The only malfunction so far has been with Perfecta, a failure to feed, preceded by a round that seemed to have excessive muzzle flash and the feeling of unburned powder or something stinging my face.

The ammo also leaves weird residue in the pistol, like brass filings or something. Looks like the interior was dusted with pollen.

This is also the only ammo that caused a malfunction in my Springfield Loaded, a stovepipe FTE.

I don't buy this stuff anymore, even with Walmart pricing it almost as low as the steel or aluminum ammo at the moment. The Federal aluminum seems to shoot way better at a cheaper price.

I shot 200 rounds of this Perfecta ammo through my G17 last weekend, no problems whatsoever, I will buy more of this ammo!

Good to hear about the 233 cases. picked up quite a few this afternoon from the guys shooting in the lanes next to me. They don't reload so they welcomed me to their brass. I was initially ignoring the brass but as the amount grew i figured I'll check it out.

I just wish there 223 brass wasn't stabbed crimped for reloading uses. First time use of factory ammo will have no problem.
