i picked up this 425 browning 20ga. sporting with 30" barrels, ported and 5 invecta plus choke tubes in next to mint used condition, at a gun show this week end. i have been useing 12ga shotguns for the clay game and wanted to try the 20ga at them. i have used my browning bss 20 ga double barrel and do pretty good with it but it has fixed chokes F/M. this gun was a walk in and i spied it and after a short haggle i have it. what are your thoughts on this shotgun about use and prefornance? eastbank.

Brownings are nice guns - I have had several over the years and still own two - a 12 and a 20. My 20 is the Ultra XS with 30" tubes. At one point I was going to get rid of the 12s and only shoot 20s - I would not feel undergunned on most sporting courses with one of these.

Take it out and put it through its paces!

I think you made a bad mistake!! Send it to me and I'll dispose of it for you.

Seriously tho, you have gotten yourself one sweet weapon. I had one in 20 ga. once and traded it off. Always regretted not having it any more ~ Just couldn't bring myself to scratch up the nice finish. I did win a few informal skeet sessions with it.

I'm envious !!!!!!!!!!

Beautiful gun! You will enjoy it immensely. I have a 30" 325 and a new 32" 725. Now go out and tear up the course!! ;)
