Picked up a cz-52

Picked up a 90% condition CZ-52 does anyone know of the current prices of mags and the different types of ammo that they have out there for it.

This has been working great in my 52 and cheaper than most 9mm these days. Congrats on a good buy and have fun. It's pretty hard to find commercial 7.62x25 and I've never seen hp. S&B makes it, but I think the Romanian is about 1/2 the price.

Mags are around. Both military surplus and some no-name aftermarket ones. Military seem to run $20-25, after market $20. I have been told that the aftermarket ones are fine but never tried any. I would expect them to work since it's single stacked.

Lot of surplus ammo out there for them so ammo prices should be pretty good. Dans Ammo just had a bunch come in, check his site. It'll be corrosive but for the price I don't mind.

Reeds Ammo Research sells 7.62x25 using Hornady XTP hollow points. I use it as my SD round. I carry mine concealed using IWB holster.

S&B is $8 a box through Cheaper than Dirt.

The Romanian surplus is corrosive.

I shoot S&B thru mine, great so far. Cheap ammo for a cheap gun.....but its great fun.

Toss up the pics of the CZs.....the funnest, ugliest chunk of metal ever.

I really wana pick one of these up as soon as I can find one around ohio thats not super expensive.

I bought a couple when they were around $100...glad I did. Within 4 months they were hard to find at $130.....then they were $150 and sold out.

I believe the going rate now is $150ish....correct. I see them all the time at gun shows for $175 to $200...ouch.

Aaron, depending upon where you're at in Ohio, check out AIM Surplus. I got a couple of nice ones there when they first got them in.

CZs.....the funnest, ugliest chunk of metal ever.

For a 50+ years old pistol that can penetrate modern body armor and has an almost indestructable construction with all the modern day features I say it doesnt matter how it looks

there's lots of rumors about too potent 7.62x25 floating around, though I've never seen or fired any for myself.
