I love pics, so forgive me if it looks overboard...hopefully they help out someone that may be looking at this series. Figured I'd take a bunch for anyone that hadn't really gotten to look at one up close.
Hopefully (and it should, from the reviews I've read) it fires as well as the gun feels in my hand. I went in for the subcompact XD9 but he sold me on this one instead (I chose the bi-tone). Could have had all black for $429, got this one for $479. Man I'm going to miss Texas (moving to Maryland in 2 months)...walk in, pay the man, fill out 2 minutes worth of papers, walk out with a gun.
Couple neat although I'm sure unnecessary "features" of this gun -- pin pops out on the back to let you know whether or not the gun is cocked (good for feeling in night)...if the pin is out, should be ready for business, so long as you have a round chambered, which is indicated by a small little piece up top that pops up when you do, otherwise it's flat. Pardon my lack of technical words.
Sitting in there trying them all, I can see where you guys want to buy so many.
Pin is in, gun not cocked.
Pin is out, gun cocked. Can easily feel with thumb. Granted I assume one should always know whether the gun is cocked or not, whether it's dark or not.
No round chambered.
Round chambered, note little triangle pop-up.
