....I am seeing a safe and another safe door of some sort here in your photo, am I right?

Top photo is the safe interior, lower is the door of the same. Have a few more handguns are stored in the haliburton aluminum cases.

I tried to get as much as possible in my safe/cabnet thingy. :)

Old picture. It's no coinsidence that cats like safes, they're dark, soft and enclosed. Safes make ideal cat habitats. Matter of fact, it wasn't for months that I discovered my cat habitat would make a good gun theft prevention apparatus.

It's an American Security (Amsec) Teton 5924. I believe they are discontinued now, replaced by a virtually identical "new" model.

Holy cow. How much do you have invested in your collection. You could hold off an army for days with that kind of arsenal.

Gixerman:

Thanks for the info on the spools. Another question for ya. Do you have those anchored into the door or just the liner? Just seems like alot of weight for the liner alone.

I really like the use of the door pegs to hold pistols out of the way. I may have to do that on mine as I am out of space everywhere else in mine.

In my country..

....many police stations have less firepower than some of you. In fact, if I could own as little as 1/5 of what some of you guys have in long guns and maybe just a pistol or two, I would be truely content and a smile on my face till my last drawn breath. :)

Gixerman,

I wish you were my neighbor! Either that, or I'm glad your not. I can't decide. ;)

Where are the spare mags??

Gixerman1000,

I noticed that you have an extensive handgun collection, the only thing that bothered me was the lack of noticeable spare magazines for your pistols, could you perhaps elaborate on this topic? That collection must be worth at least a hundred g's, wow that is awesome.

Unfortunately, at my age, iron sights are just a blurr, that made it mandatory to equip the hunting handguns with glass sights! I use a diopter for range work with the blue guns.;)

Thanks. I really prefer stainless. Easier to care for and just more attractive to me. I do like some guns in case colored finish as you can tell from a couple of the Ruger SA's. Sometimes the old cowboy pistols need to be darker finishes.
