Hey Arkie, regarding that buffalo. I was thinking about that while driving from the range. We were, at least I was, expecting a metallic sound from a hit, then Larry said it's a faint twack-sound, not a pling-sound. Remember I said I heard a sound as if you hit a tree? And I think you later said the same while spotting for me. Anyway, I'd be surprised if we didn't have a hit or two, considering how many really close misses we had.

You know, shooting that old K31 offhand at 3/4 mile was really, really cool.

Now a picture, to stay with the thread topic. If anyone believes ammo grows on trees, well, you're wrong. It is mined from the innermost dark corners of truckbeds. The boots belong to Arkie.

    Hey M67!

I know that I did hear it a time or two when we were there. I bet we hit it! I know we were hitting really close to it and I think hitting it with a Battle rifle with open sights was Great!!!

I really like that old K31. It's a Great shooter. I'm glad that you were there to play with all the toys I brought.

    LOL!!!

When did you take that photo?

Ahhhhhh,,, Now I see where we were at. HAHAHAHA.

I did bring a bunch of Ammo. But I wanted to have a good time and I had a Blast.

    Bump

Bumping this to try and get more interest for this year's event.

Let us know, we need to make reservations.

I'll be there this year unless my daughter decides to hatch that weekend.

How about one in Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, or Montana. We have some long ranges here were I live but I don't know if they would be big enough for the size of group there might be (the up to 500 range is ~20 stalls but no shotguns and the up tp 1000yd range is ~10 stalls)
