Those Axis deer are cool; and I've never seen one in real life. I can sure relate to problems with photos taken through a screen. Had a snowy owl on the roof back in Nov. 2020 and my shots were taken through a screen and came out somewhat lacking in quality. These pictures have been on THR back then, but I forgot what thread. Snowy owls are scarce in winter on the south side of Lake Ontario. They live in the arctic tundra areas of northern Canada but some years they winter as far south as the northern U.S. during rough winters up north. Got a few through the screen, but it affected the auto-focus and I didn't have time to mess with that, as I'm not a professional photographer. .. Discovered that less zoom through that screen meant better pix and got a couple like this before the owl decided to take wing. .. Definitely a non-game critter and one that I may only see once every few years.Sorry for poor quality photos, my camera shots are taken from inside a screened in porch.
