Honestly, I wouldn't take a Jimenez even if someone gave it to me for free. Junk guns make me nervous.

But etch a good name on a gun that's made of zinc and people will buy 'em up like hotcakes! Still junk, but with a famous gumakers brand on em.

If you make that junk gun with trash materials and make it look like something from star wars the kids will think they really have a great gun now yessir! I'm embarrassed that folks will recognize a Jimenez as junk but with the same quality and a German gun makers name on it it's "Sweet!" :barf:

kids,,,,

Haha. If you want a cheap gun that will actually be reliable and usable for self defense, why not buy a makarov for $150 and be done with it? jgsales has them in stock.

Link please?

For some more feedback, try the forums at www.bryco-jennings-jiminezarms.com.. Someone over there might know what you've got going on.. No one there is an elitist when it comes to guns, as is evidenced by the very nature of their subject matter..

An elitist is someone with a Rohrbaugh looking down their nose at a Kahr, or maybe a Smith and Wesson fan looking down their nose at Taurus. A guy putting down Bryco/Jiminez is a realist. :D

Examples of the latter appear here on quite a regular basis.. thanks for noticing and agreeing..

If you haven't already push in on the center hole of the mag to release the base plate to take it apart to see what is hanging up.
When you work the slide does it fell like it gets tight about an inch from closing?
If so disassemble the pistol and try one part at a time to find which one is dragging.
And hit the link Mastiff has for you.

THANK YOU! thats what kinda stuff i was looking for

im gonna check out the sight now. hand cycleed about 25 rds and no hang ups on the good clip and after a few adjustments, none on the other clip either:D

Glad to read that it seems to be doing better. Let us know after your next range trip you are able to get it reliable.

after your next range trip

the range trip is no problem, no range for a long ways out but we got a lot of land with no one around so behind the shop we got about 20-25yds and a 15 ft tall dirt bank as a backstop.

my problem is finding a place to get 9mm's......then theres the thing that im only 19 and cannot buy the ammo, and im not getting dies untill this pistol is tried and proven.

No problem. I try to help anywhere I can.
Though it is a low priced pistol. There is no reason for a page or two of low road responses.
